The vehicle is curently up for auction here: https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2005-porsche-boxster-6/ This 2005 Porsche Boxster was purchased nine years ago after the 2.7L flat-six suffered an engine failure at 44k miles. Since then, it has been transformed into an ideal road/track car by increasing power and overall performance through a series of modifications, the majority of which were installed approximately 36k miles ago. Power is now provided by a 2007 Cayman S 3.4-liter flat-six, which is paired with a Boxster S 6-speed manual transaxle that was disassembled and rebuilt by GBox in Colorado, including the addition of a Quaife limited-slip differential. Bilstein PSS9 coilovers are also fitted along with 18″ Kinesis wheels, 987.1 Cayman S brake calipers with 2-piece floating GiroDisc rotors, 997 GT3 RS seats, and much more as listed below. 41k miles have been added over the past nine years, and the chassis now has 83,500 total miles. This 987 Boxster is now offered by the selling dealer in Oregon with receipts relating to the build, the original window sticker, owners manual, some removed/spare parts, and a clean Washington title.
