This 1979 Porsche 911SC coupe was modified with backdated bodywork under previous ownership including a long-hood conversion and fitment of an S/T-style decklid, bumpers, and rear fender flares. The flat-six engine has been fitted with a Mahle Motorsports 3.4L piston and cylinder set as well as a Web Cam Inc. camshaft, a Clewett Engineering electronic ignition system, and PMO 46mm carburetors. The drivetrain features a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle, a Fidanza aluminum flywheel, a Sachs clutch kit, and a limited-slip differential. The interior houses reclining bucket seats upholstered in black leatherette with houndstooth cloth inserts in addition to a MOMO steering wheel, an Autopower Industries bolt-in roll bar, an RS-style carpet set and door panels, and a Rennline shifter, pedal set, and floorboards. Further equipment includes a center-fill fuel tank, a front-mount oil cooler, a Dansk muffler, Bilstein shocks, and Minilite 15″ alloy wheels. The current owner acquired the car in 2017, and work in 2023 included removing and rebuilding the engine as well as replacing the shift-shaft seal and installing SSI heat exchangers. This modified 911SC coupe is now offered on dealer consignment in Portland, Oregon, with service and build records as well as a clean Arizona title.
