Description

This 1983 Ferrari 308 GTB Quattrovalvole is a French-market model that was brought to the US in December 1983. It was purchased in October 2004 by the current owner, who commissioned refurbishment work including a repaint in Rosso Corsa and reupholstering the cabin in black leather. The process was completed in June 2005, and the car won a Coppa GT award at that year's Ferrari Club of America International Meet in Indianapolis, Indiana. The quad-cam V8 was later stroked and bored over, a process that was initiated in October 2007 and resulted in a displacement of 3.5 liters. Power is routed to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential, and additional equipment includes European-market bumpers and lighting, 390mm Cromodora alloy wheels, slotted brake rotors, GiroDisc and Wilwood brake hardware, Koni shocks, Eibach springs, a quad-exit exhaust system, a gated shifter, and electric windows. An engine overhaul was completed in August 2019. This 308 GTB Quattrovalvole is now offered on dealer consignment in Oregon with literature, records, tools, a damage-free Carfax report, and a Washington title.
