This 1968 Volkswagen Beetle convertible was first sold at Metro Volkswagen in Seattle, Washington, and it was refurbished in 1998 and remained with its original owner until it was sold on BaT in May 2022 to its current owner. Subsequent work consisted of replacing the left-side floor pan, adjusting the rear brakes, and replacing the shocks, battery, and axle boots. The car is finished in Yukon Yellow over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a soft top, body-color 15″ wheels, H4 headlights, chrome-finished bumpers, a cassette stereo, and aftermarket auxiliary gauges. This Beetle convertible is offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with service records dating to the 1960s and a Washington state title.
