This 1978 Porsche 911SC began life as a Targa model and was modified in the 1990s with custom Speedster-style bodywork and a six-point roll cage. Power is supplied by a 3.6-liter flat-six sourced from a 964 RS and equipped with Rothsport 48mm individual throttle bodies, 964 RS camshafts, MoTeC engine management, and GHL headers. The five-speed manual transaxle features close-ratio gearing, a WEVO shifter, and a Quaife limited-slip differential, and the car rides on a 935-style suspension with Bilstein RSR coilovers, adjustable sway bars, 930 tie rods, and a bump steer kit. The interior houses heated fixed-back seats trimmed in black leather and Alcantara along with four-point harnesses, custom door latch releases, Rennline floorboards, a JL Audio amplifier, Rockford Fosgate speakers, and a tilt steering column. Additional modifications include a B&B front-mount oil cooler, Brembo brakes, a lightweight flywheel, and a Monty muffler. Previously listed on BaT in September 2020, the car was acquired by the current owner in 2023 and fiberglass IROC-style bumpers, 17″ Fuchs-style wheels, Michelin tires, and replacement front struts have since been installed. This 911SC Speedster conversion is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Oregon title.
