This 1981 Volkswagen Scirocco S was modified following the previous owner's acquisition in 2006 with a repaint in olive green and the installation of a 1.8-liter inline-four, Bilstein shock absorbers, H&R lowering springs, Cobra Classic RS seats, an Autotech strut bar and sway bars, and a MOMO steering wheel. Additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle, 15″ alloy wheels, and a center-mounted windshield wiper. The car spent time in Washington State and Colorado before the selling dealer acquired it in a September 2022 BaT auction. Work in preparation for the sale included the installation of a front spoiler and a horn button as well as the replacement of the spark plugs and the exhaust manifold and valve cover gaskets. This Scirocco S is now offered with service records and a clean Oregon title.
