This 1973 BMW 2002 was acquired by the current owner in 2022 and subsequently underwent refurbishment and modification that included refinishing the car in blue, re-trimming the seats in red upholstery, installing a custom audio system, applying sound-deadening material to the cabin, and fitting a Weber carburetor, an aluminum radiator, and a five-speed manual transmission. The car is powered by a 2.0-liter M10 inline-four and is equipped with a Euro-specification front bumper, 14″ E30-style wheels, a lowered suspension, Bilstein shocks, and a Nardi steering wheel, while the audio system is outfitted with an Alpine touchscreen head unit, an amplifier, and a subwoofer. Wiring repairs were performed and clutch components were replaced in preparation for the sale along with the head gasket, valve cover gasket, and interior trim pieces. This BMW 2002 is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with service records and a clean Oregon title.
