Description
This 1973 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible was acquired by the current owner in 2014 and subsequently underwent a multi-year mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment. Work consisted of repairing and refinishing the body in Saturn Yellow, reupholstering the gray leather interior, and installing a 1,776cc air-cooled flat-four and a “Freeway Flyer” four-speed manual transaxle. Additional equipment includes a black soft top, 15” steel wheels with chrome VW-branded hubcaps, four-wheel disc brakes, dual side mirrors, and a Sapphire IX AM/FM radio. The fluids were changed in anticipation of the sale.
