This 1966 Volkswagen Beetle was refurbished in a tiki theme under previous ownership and was acquired by the current owner in 2021. Finished in metallic brown with hand-painted woodgrain side paneling over tan and brown vinyl, the car is powered by a 1,915cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a retractable tan canvas roof, dual Weber carburetors, Pertronix electronic ignition, an adjustable AirLift suspension, drum brakes, 15″ EMPI Raider wheels, headlight grilles, safari-style front and rear windshields, a roof rack, a rear luggage rack, a bamboo package tray and headliner, a Vintage Speed shifter, duckboards, and an Alpine CD stereo linked to a custom sound system. Work in preparation for the sale consisted of clearancing the torsion arms, repairing the taillight wiring, and replacing the spark plugs. This modified Beetle is offered on dealer consignment with a clean Oregon title.
