This 1972 BMW 2002tii was sold new by Concours Motors in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is said to have remained with its first owner until 2019. It was refurbished and modified between 2020 and 2021 with a repaint in Golf Yellow, a retrim of the interior in black Skai vinyl, and the installation of a Metric Mechanic-built 2,130cc M10 inline-four. A rebuilt five-speed manual gearbox, a limited-slip differential, and a lightened flywheel were also fitted, and the suspension was overhauled with Koni shocks, H&R springs, and Ireland Engineering sway bars. A sunroof, 13″ FPS alloy wheels, and a Blaupunkt radio are additional details. The car was previously sold on BaT in December 2021 and was acquired by the current owner on BaT in May 2022. This 2002tii is now offered on dealer consignment in Arizona with a window sticker, owner's manuals, service records, and a clean Indiana title.
