Description

This 1996 Porsche 911 Turbo was modified in the style of a 993 GT2 Clubsport before being acquired by the current owner in 2017. Work included removal of the factory sunroof, installation of a GT-style front bumper cover, splitter, fender flares, and rear wing, and a color change to Blue Turquoise. Power is provided by a twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle, which was converted to send power to the rear wheels only. Additional equipment includes a gray leather interior, 18″ BBS E29 wheels, Bilstein PSS9 coilovers, Brembo GranTurismo brakes, a TiAL Alpha 28 turbo system, an ANDIAL intercooler, a short shifter, power-adjustable seats, and a CDR-210 CD stereo. Service in April 2022 consisted of flushing the brake fluid, changing the oil, and replacing the fuel filter, wiper blades, front sway bar end links, decklid struts, and window switches.
Modifications were carried out beginning in 2016 and included deleting the factory sunroof, sanding the body to bare metal, fitting 911 GT–style bodywork, repainting the car in Blue Turquoise, and replacing the seals. Clear film is applied over the entirety of the body, and additional equipment includes xenon headlights, integrated fog lights, and dual stainless-steel tailpipes.
The twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six was removed in 2016 by Patrick Motorsports in Phoenix, Arizona to fit solid mechanical rockers, GT2 Evolution camshafts, and new timing chain components. Additional equipment includes a TiAL Alpha 28 turbo system, an ANDIAL intercooler, a Protomotive ECU tune, and S-Car-Go strengthened boost hoses. Service in April 2022 consisted of changing the oil and replacing the fuel filter and decklid struts.
