This 1972 BMW 2002tii was acquired by the current owner in December 2021, following a multi-year refurbishment and modification process that included repainting the body in Golf Yellow, reupholstering the black vinyl interior, and overhauling the suspension, brakes, gauges, and exhaust system. Power is provided by a numbers-matching 2,130cc M10 inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transmission, and equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 13″ alloy wheels, Koni shocks, H&R springs, chrome bumpers, a sunroof, and a Blaupunkt AM/FM radio. Work carried out in anticipation of the sale consisted of replacing the engine mounts, voltage regulator, engine harness, and alternator.
