Description
This 1967 Shelby GT500 is one of 2,048 fastbacks produced for the model year and was delivered new to Republic Ford Sales of Houston, Texas. The car is finished in Lime Gold over black vinyl and powered by a replacement 427ci medium-rise V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 15” Mag Star alloy wheels, power-assisted steering and front disc brakes, three-point front seatbelts, a fold-down rear seat, and an AM radio. The car underwent a refurbishment in the mid-1980s and it was acquired by the current owner in 2015 and subsequently placed in a museum. Recent service consisted of rebuilding the alternator along with performing an oil change and a compression test. It is listed in the SAAC registry and has been featured in Autoweek magazine and Mustang Monthly. This GT500 is now offered on dealer consignment in Oregon with partial service records, owner's manuals, Shelby documentation, literature, a Deluxe Marti Report, and a clean Washington title.
