Description
This 1967 Ford Fairlane 500 GTA was delivered as an S-code 390 convertible with Dark Moss Green paintwork, a black interior, and a C-6 automatic linked to a 3.25 conventional rear end. The car was acquired by its current owner in 2003, and it has since been refinished and modified. Per the selling dealer, a 427 side-oiler block was sourced and rebuilt by Paolo Engine Services in Oregon with a 428 Cobra Jet crankshaft, COMP Cams camshaft, and medium-riser heads. It is topped by two rebuilt Holley four-barrel carburetors mounted on a C7ZX dual-quad intake and has dual remote oil filters, a Milodon sump, tubular headers, and a stainless-steel exhaust system with Flowmasters. Front and rear sway bars, Wilwood front disc brakes, and a Traction-Lok differential were also fitted, and the car has been cosmetically refreshed with red paintwork, a black soft top, and 14″ Magnum 500-style wheels. In preparation for the sale, staggered BFGoodrich tires were mounted, the right valve cover gasket was replaced, and the rear brakes were serviced. This Fairlane 500 GTA is now offered on dealer consignment by 911r, a BaT Local Partner, with recent records and a clean Oregon title.
