This 1967 Volkswagen Type 2 is a 13-window Microbus Deluxe model that spent time in Washington before being acquired by the current owner on BaT in March 2022. Powered by an air-cooled 1.5L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle, the van is finished in red and white over beige cloth and vinyl. It also features an anodized roof-mounted cargo rack, retrofitted front disc brakes, 14″ steel wheels, a Kienzle clock, and lap belts. Work under current ownership included reconnecting the cabin heater, adjusting the valve clearances, and replacing the steering damper, steering wheel, rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders, and shock absorbers as well as servicing the fuel, ignition, and 12-volt electrical systems. This Type 2 Deluxe is offered on consignment by 911r, a BaT Local Partner, with a seller-supplied maintenance summary, parts invoices, and an Arizona title.
