This 1971 MV Agusta 750S is powered by a 743cc DOHC inline-four paired with a five-speed transmission and is finished in red, white, and blue with a full GP-style fairing and a red leather bump seat. It is equipped with an enclosed driveshaft, four Dell'Orto UB-series carburetors, 18″ alloy-rimmed wheels, a ribbed Ceriani fork, adjustable Sebac shocks, a friction steering damper, and a Fontana magnesium four leading-shoe front drum brake. Additional equipment includes clip-on handlebars, a Tommaselli Daytona throttle, Tommaselli grips and levers, rear-set foot controls, and a chrome four-into-four exhaust system. This first-series 750S is one of 56 examples produced for the second model year, and it has been inspected and reported on by Ducati authority and motorcycle author, historian, and authenticator Ian Falloon. It was purchased by its current owner in 2020 and is now offered by Avant Garde Collection—a BaT Local Partner—on consignment in Oregon with its hardcover Falloon report, spare tires, memorabilia, and a bill of sale.
