This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was sold new in Pennsylvania and acquired as a project by the current owner in 2006. The subsequent multi-year refurbishment was completed in 2013. Work included refinishing the body in Milano Maroon, sandblasting and painting the frame, reupholstering the interior in Medium Saddle Tan vinyl, and rebuilding the 327ci V8, four-speed manual transmission, and 3.70:1 rear differential. The suspension, brakes, exhaust system, gauges, and radio were also overhauled. This C2 coupe is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos and records, NCRS judging sheets, awards, and a clean Oregon title.
The cabin has been reupholstered in Saddle Tan vinyl with matching carpets. Additional appointments include a refinished Teak-rimmed steering wheel, a heater, tan Corvette Sting Ray-branded floor mats, and a vertically-mounted Delco push-button radio that was rebuilt.
The 327ci V8 had been taken apart and was included with the car in 2006. A subsequent rebuild included Magnafluxing the crankshaft and replacing the pistons, camshaft, valves, and springs.
