This 1941 Indian Four was acquired by its current owner in 1999 and received a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment in 2017 carried out by Indian Engineering in Stanton, California. Work during the refurbishment included replacing the fuel tank and fenders, refinishing the bodywork in red, powder-coating the frame in black, overhauling the 77ci inline four and the three-speed transmission, and rebuilding the suspension, brakes, and wheels. Equipment includes a sprung leather solo saddle, a foot clutch, a leaf-spring front end, a four-into-one exhaust system, a black engine guard, plunger shocks, 16″ wire-spoke wheels, and both center and side stands. Recent service included fitting an AGM battery inside a vintage case, as well as changing the oil. This Model 441 is now offered on dealer consignment in Oregon with refurbishment records and a clean Washington title.
