This 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible was previously modified and refurbished by former NBA player Steve Blake and his father in 2004. Work included refinishing the body in red and white, reupholstering the cabin, fitting a Morrison GT Sport chassis, and installing a 5.7-liter LS1 V8 and a four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Additional modifications include 17″ Cragar wheels, C5 Corvette four-wheel disc brakes, a 9″ Ford rear differential, and a QA1 suspension with rack and pinion steering in addition to a Weiand intake manifold, a dual exhaust system, a VintageAir climate control system, AutoMeter gauges, and a Custom Autosound stereo. The car was later acquired by the current owner in 2010 and re-acquired in 2018. Service in November 2022 consisted of replacing the tires, fluids, and speedometer drive seals. This modified Bel Air convertible is now offered on dealer consignment with a recent service record and a clean Oregon title.
