Description
This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger MkI was restored between 2017 and 2019 with work that included refinishing the body in Forest Green, re-plating chrome trim, rebuilding the 260ci V8, replacing the convertible top, and refurbishing the instrumentation and dashboard. Features include a four-speed manual transmission, a black removable hardtop, and a black vinyl interior. The original 260ci V8 was rebuilt in 2018 by Dons Machines, induction is handled by a single Holley four-barrel carburetor with an oval air-cleaner assembly, with a correct, four-hole Edelbrock F4B-code intake manifold installed. The underhood hardware was stripped and refinished during the restoration. Modifications include a set of port-matched 289ci Hi-Po cylinder heads with hardened valve seats and stainless valves, a Comp Cams 266/283 camshaft, and roller-tip rockers.
This Tiger is offered with a Certificate of Vehicle Authenticity from the Coventry Transport Museum, restoration records, and a clean Oregon title.
