Highlights

  • This 1949 Willys-Overland Jeepster is a modified example that is powered by a 302ci Ford V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Finished in yellow over a black interior, the truck is equipped with a black soft top, power-assisted steering and brakes, rear air shocks, Halibrand-style wheels, an Edelbrock carburetor, an aftermarket stereo, Stewart Warner gauges, a dual exhaust system, and cruise control. It was acquired by the current owner in 2006, and an oil change and an inspection was recently carried out. This Jeepster is offered on dealer consignment with a removable soft top and side curtains, a parts manual, and a clean Oregon title.
  • The body was refinished in the Ferrari shade of Fly Yellow with black accents by Divers Street Rods of Sultan, Washington. Equipment includes a replacement Hartz black soft top with removable side curtains, chrome bumpers and trim, a split windshield, and dual side-view mirrors.
  • Halibrand-style wheels measuring 15″ in the front and 17″ out back are wrapped in Dunlop SP Sport 5000 sized 205/60 and 245/50 respectively. The truck is equipped with power steering and rear air shocks. Braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums reportedly sourced from a Ford Mustang II.
  • The front and rear seats are trimmed in black leather with gray inserts by Divers Street Rods, and the cabin features black vinyl door panels and a matching dashboard. Gray square weave carpets line the floors, and additional equipment includes cruise control, an aftermarket banjo-style steering wheel, and a Pioneer head unit linked with Infinity speakers.
  • Stewart Warner instrumentation includes a column-mounted tachometer along with a centrally-mounted 160-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil pressure, amperage, and coolant temperature. The five-digit odometer shows 15k miles, though total mileage is unknown.
  • The original 148ci inline-six has been replaced with a 302ci Ford V8 topped with an Edelbrock 600CFM carburetor. Additional equipment includes a Ron Francis wiring harness, an electric fuel pump, Ford-branded valve covers, and an Optima RedTop battery. Divers Street Rods recently detailed the engine bay, and an oil change and inspection were recently carried out per the seller.
