This 1948 Indian Chief was acquired by its current owner in 1996 and underwent a refurbishment in 2001 that included a repaint in red along with rebuilds of its 74ci V-twin and hand-shifted three-speed transmission. Equipment includes a sprung leather solo saddle, engine and rear frame guards, a foot-operated clutch, a girder fork, plunger shocks, a Linkert M-series carburetor, a chrome two-into-one exhaust system, and a side stand. This Chief is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment records and a clean Oregon title.
