This 1964.5 Ford Mustang convertible was acquired by the current owner in 1976 and was reportedly the subject of a recent refurbishment that included repainting the body in metallic blue as well as re-trimming the blue interior. The car is powered by a rebuilt 260ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and equipment includes a white soft top, 14″ steel wheels with wire-look wheel covers, polished bumpers and trim, front disc brakes, an electronic ignition system, front bucket seats, and a digital AM/FM stereo. Service completed in the past six months reportedly consisted of rebuilding the carburetor, cleaning the fuel tank, and adjusting the brakes, as well as replacing the tires, brake lines, exhaust system, ignition solenoid and regulator, water pump, radiator, spark plugs and wires, fuel lines, and wiring harnesses. This Mustang convertible is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment in Arizona with a recent service record, spare parts, and a clean California title. The total sale amount, including the BaT buyer's fee, will be donated to Conscience International, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that links needs and resources by providing humanitarian aid, advocating for human rights, and engaging in peacemaking worldwide.
