This 1964 Chevrolet Corvette convertible was converted for racing use in the late-1960s and is said to have participated in races spanning through the 1960s and 1970s piloted by former SCCA national champion Bill Morrison. It was refurbished in 1986 back to its original livery and competed in SVRA, VSCDA, and HSR vintage racing events over the next three decades. The car is finished in a blue and yellow livery over a race-prepped cabin and is powered by a 331ci V8 paired with a Borg Warner four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a partial roll cage, 15″ wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, QA-1 double-adjustable shocks, a Stinger-style hood, Hooker headers, side exhaust pipes, a 30-gallon fuel cell, and a Holley carburetor in addition to fixed-back seats with five-point harnesses, a fire suppression system, and a low-profile windshield panel. Acquired by the current owner one year ago, this C2 race car is now offered on dealer consignment in Scottsdale, Arizona, with recent records, log books, spare parts and wheels, and a bill of sale.
