This AM General M998 HMMWV was delivered to the US military in August 1992 and acquired by the owner in Arizona in 2021. Subsequent refurbishment and modification included refinishing the bodywork, installing rear side panels and a green vinyl top, and resealing the 6.2-liter diesel V8. Equipment includes a three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and front and rear Torsen limited-slip differentials along with a front brush guard, 16.5″ steel wheels, three-point front seatbelts, sun visors, and a custom center console. Additional work consisted of replacing the tires, batteries, belts, power steering and oil coolers, water pump, coolant hoses, fuel pump and lines, fuel sender unit, fuel tank and hoses, ball joints, radius rods, tie rod ends, filters, and fluids. This M998 is now offered on dealer consignment with refurbishment photos, recent service records, and a clean Arizona title.
